TRADITIONAL DESIGN STAINLESS STEEL D.I.Y. KIT 
Which allows you to make a  classic designed  GARDEN /  FORAGING  TOOL 
This D.I.Y.  Kit allows you to make a CUSTOM DESIGNED piece , totally personal to you . 
When you assemble the  parts  , you can use any material to make the  scales , wood /Bone / Antler /shell .
You can use a section from  a branch of a favourite Apple Tree you used to clime as a kid or a piece of a Stag antler you found when out for a Country  walk.
Skill levels needed are low to  medium ,with most of the tools needed  found in the home .
You will need  a few hand files , Medium and fine grade , some abrasive paper of different grades , plus a junior hack saw , a small ball pien hammer ,a small lump of cast iron to use as an anvil ( visit your local engineering company for a 150cm off cut of U beam ] to use when riveting the  parts together.
The  parts are in the raw state  ,as expected with unfinished metal from an engineering company .
The D.I.Y kit consists of a stainless steel garden tool. When assembled just over  3 inches long

2 x sides  parts
1 x back spring .
Plus  Rivets
When assembled the handle will be approx 150mm long
NOTE !!

Photo No4 shows a finished item
You will not be sent a finished piece
 
The Stainless steel blade is approx 80mm long
Total length when open is approx 180 mm
