1950s GREAT YARMOUTH SHOWTIME POSTER
A poster for the WELLINGTON PIER  SHOWTIME end of the pier entertainment for the Summer season.
Menbers of the cast include BUNTY ST CLAIR  a  Speciality dancer and the BURT TWINS.
I am not sure if they were the twin children of Mr and Mrs Burt , or a stage name after Sir Cyril Lodowic Burt an infamous school psychologist who studied twins .
Also the famous TILLER GIRLS, all Tits/Teeth and Feathers .
 
Bottom of the bill was the great  British actress BERIL REID  who latter starred in THE KILLING OF SISTER GEORGE .
Her many film and television roles as a character actor were usually well received. She reprised her Tony Award-winning performance of a lesbian soap opera star in The Killing of Sister George for the 1968 screen version and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Actress in a Drama. The tour of the play was not a success; people in shops refused to serve her and other performers due to the gay characters in the play
