This year's fairs!

Firstly apologies for sending this out after our first fair of the year at Glemham Hall, which was last Sunday. It seems hard to believe that we are already nearing the end of May, the year is certainly flying by and we now have a fair a month through until November.

Exciting times for us in terms of new events for 2022. We are always looking out for new venues and are delighted to confirm that we will be holding two new events at the Suffolk Showground this year and a new Street Fair in Saxmundham which will be part of their 750th Anniversary of being granted their Market Charter. The Suffolk Showground as any of you who have visited it will know, is a beautiful level site of 350 acres with top class facilities and excellent road links. With the number of exhibitors attending our fairs increasing we were looking for a site big enough to accommodate them and the visitors who attend them. The Showground we feel will really give us the chance to put Suffolk on the map as a top destination for Antiques and Vintage. We have a new 'Antiques in the Park' event at the Showground on the 11th September and a two day 'Antiques and Artisans' indoor event on the 15th/16th October.

Due to the Covid-19 situation both the Bungay and Halesworth Street Fairs had to be cancelled in 2020/2021. Bungay we were able to relocate to the Maltings Meadow which is just a short walk from the town centre and worked very well last year. With lots more space at the Meadow, onsite facilities, bar and free parking for around 300 cars we have decided to keep the fair there. Halesworth unfortunately we were unable to find an alternative venue close by. Instead we were able to organise a new 'Grand Brocante' at Woolverstone Hall in 2021. It was held on the August Bank Holiday Sunday and following on from its success will will take place again this August. We are also pleased to announce that we have moved our Winter Fair to Woolverstone Hall. The inside of the Hall is just as stunning as the outside with amazing views out across the River Lawns to the River Orwell. It will be quite a sight to behold when it is full of decorative antiques, vintage and curated artisan stalls.

BLACKDOG EVENTS

Apologies are in order, we sadly had to cancel the Spring Show at Glemham Hall that was due to take place tomorrow. On checking the other dates on the Events page I also discovered a few more mistakes
